Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 13, 2026

Your privacy matters to us. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you use Final Grade Calculator and how that information is handled.

Information We Collect

1. Automatically Collected Data

The homepage loads Google Analytics to measure visits and usage, including page information, browser and device details, and approximate location. Google Analytics 4 uses IP addresses to derive location information and discards them before logging. Hosting services may also keep request logs. This page does not describe all technical information as anonymous.

2. Calculator Inputs

Any grades or numbers you enter into the calculator are processed entirely in your browser. The calculator saves up to 10 records in this browser's local storage when available. Your theme preference is also stored locally. Use Clear all to remove calculation history or clear site data in your browser. Calculation code does not send grade values to a server. If you share a result, its URL contains the grades, mode and exam weight. Shared URLs can appear in hosting logs and analytics page-location records, and are visible to anyone who receives them.

3. Cookies & Analytics

Google Analytics is loaded on the homepage and may use cookies. Public pages request the Inter font from Google Fonts, sending network request information to Google. Font requests are separate from analytics. See Google Analytics regional data collection, Google Fonts FAQs and Google’s privacy policy for service details.

How We Use Information

• Improve site performance and usability
• Understand how visitors use the tool
• Maintain security and reliability

Children’s Privacy

The calculator does not ask for your name, age, student ID or an account. Do not include identifying information in shared links or support requests. Automatic analytics and third-party requests described above can still occur when the homepage is opened.

Your Choices

You can disable cookies or block analytics at any time using your browser settings. The calculator will continue to function normally without cookies.
